Becoming Irrelevant In An Inattentive Economy

There are too many options for the customer. We live in an attention economy. Seth Godin prophesied in Permission Marketing what today would look like. With accessibility to a myriad of options and our behaviors as consumers shifting rapidly, we are fully in the attention economy. Godin stated,

“If you are not remarkable, you are invisible.”

Al Ries also made the case in his book The Fall of Advertising and the Rise of PR. Advertising is dead. It does not work. It only works as an accolade grabber amongst advertisers in their guilds. For an unknown brand, advertising does not work because it is not trusted as a medium.

We have spent countless hours cracking the code to why people buy while everyone else is trying to figure out how to sell. We do not want to be sold. We all want to buy. We buy based on a process which is subconscious and inexplicit.

At AscendWorks Media, our countless hours of research, experimentation and mastery of systems enable us to create and deliver the technology systems which will position you in the attention economy. In the old days, you could sell on charisma. In the new economy, consumers (including yourself) do not want to be sold. We look forward to working with you to create the systems your business will benefit from to become relevant and remarkable in the new economy.

Sincerely,
